Trauma, EMDR & Anxiety Therapy in Pasadena, CA
Healing isn't one-size-fits-all. Every service I offer is grounded in evidence-based care and tailored to what you actually need.
Trauma-Informed Care
Trauma doesn't always look like what you'd expect. It can live quietly — in patterns that keep repeating, in relationships that never feel quite safe, in a body that stays on high alert even when the danger has long since passed.
Whether you've experienced a single traumatic event or years of complex, relational, or family trauma, you deserve care that moves at a pace that works for you — nothing forced, nothing rushed.
A trauma-informed approach means that everything we do together is shaped by an understanding of how trauma affects the mind, body, and nervous system. We'll work to understand how your past is showing up in your present — and build the safety, skills, and insight to begin shifting it.
I specialize in family trauma, complex PTSD, childhood trauma, relational trauma, and the long-term effects of toxic shame and emotional neglect.
Get StartedEMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is one of the most well-researched therapies available for trauma — and one I use regularly with clients who are ready to go deeper than talk therapy alone can reach.
Rather than requiring you to recount every detail of what happened, EMDR works with the way your brain stores traumatic memory. Through guided bilateral stimulation, it helps your nervous system process experiences that have stayed stuck — so they stop running your life from the background.
Many clients find that EMDR reaches places that nothing else has been able to touch. It can be effective for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, phobias, and more. We'll always talk about whether it's a good fit for you before we begin.
Book a ConsultationAnxiety & OCD
Anxiety and OCD can make it feel like your mind is running a loop you can't find the off switch for. Whether you're caught in obsessive thought cycles, managing panic, or just living with that constant, low-level hum of worry — you deserve more than white-knuckling through it.
I offer specialized treatment for anxiety disorders and OCD using a combination of CBT, ACT, and ERP — evidence-based approaches with real, consistent results. Together, we'll work to understand what's driving your anxiety, interrupt the cycles that keep it going, and build practical skills you can actually use in your everyday life.
Sessions are goal-directed and collaborative. You'll walk away with tools, not just insight — and a clearer sense of what it feels like to live more intentionally, in the present.
Get StartedSelf-Harm & Suicidal Thoughts
If you're struggling with self-harm, suicidal thoughts, or behaviors that feel out of control, I want you to know: these are symptoms, not character flaws. They're ways your mind and body learned to manage pain that was too much to carry — and they made sense at the time.
You don't have to hide these parts of yourself here. I take a direct, non-judgmental approach to this work. These aren't topics I shy away from — they're areas I'm specifically trained to support.
Drawing on DBT and ACT, we'll work on building distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and a wider toolkit — one where these behaviors don't have to be your only options. The goal isn't shame. It's more: more skills, more choices, more room to breathe.
You don't have to stay in this place forever.
If you are in immediate danger: Please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You can also call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, available 24/7. This page is not a crisis service.
